--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Howdy,

I have some French films on DVD without English subs and I´m trying to add subtitles in English while playing a DVD. I've tried BS player but the option "load subtitles" doesn´t work even though I tried with different subtitles formats (srt, sub, sss), I think it only works with divx movies. Does anybody know how to display extra subtitles while playing a DVD in a computer? Is there any program that allows this?

Thanks

Download "K-Lite Codec Pack Mega" - Go and google for it, it is legit and brilliant - it opens ALL sort of media files and automatically links up with subtitles if the file names are the SAME - e.g. David30.wmv AND David30.srt (or .sub, .sss) This should work.

As for DVD - I am sure there is an option somewhere to open subtitle file.

Ummmmmmmmmmm..... Looks like I would DVD rip it and convert to AVI format and download subtitle file from website.

Yes, it is illegal, the reason I would have done that way is to gain accessibility to watch the film.
