Who do you think will win it this year?
I think its going to be close this year. I can't see any team thats an outright favourite. Madrid won the Spanish league last year but to be honest they didn't have a great team, Barca seemed to think they'd cruise to the title and that came back to bite them. Milan are an aging team and I just can't see them winning it again. On paper I'd have to say Barca are favourites (although their defense is still a bit dodgy)

Terry and Drogba will be fit to play. As i am Liverpool supporter, i want Man Utd to win cos they is simply best team so far this season. Chelsea is ok, credit to Avram Grant. Should be a good and tense match!!!

yeah, ofc u are right. Rangers is ok but Zenit is very good and better team. I like their number 10 and i am impressed with captain (blond ponytail one) he remind me of Makelele.
Duh about Rangers fans, i understand their frustration about big screens problems, but they need to control thier behaviour bit better.

Well Done to Man United, I am happy for Brown, Ferdinand, Carrick, Hargreaves, Scholes and Rooney.
Lucky Ronaldo after penalty miss!!!
Drogba, Bye bye!!!!!! can't stand him. why he is in first place arguing with viduc????!!!!! ( if Drogba leave Chelsea, I will start to like Chelsea, Robben and Drogba was very disgrace to english football, glad Robben leave last summer, Drogba, please leave, we not need u and in fact we wont miss u!!)
I am feeling bit sorry for Terry, this is football!!!

An intresting final it was - Was hoping Chelsea wud win it but i must admit Man Utd were the better team on nite..
I dont feel sorry for Terry at all - No one felt sorry for Beckham agenst Portugal wen he missed his penalty..
So why feel sorry for Terry wen he miss his penalty?
Is it cos he slipped just like Beckham did?

Will be interesting to see whether Abramovich's sticking with Grant or not...

Enigma mate, Who gives a flying f**k about what happened to Becks? I certainly don't give two s**ts! :p
Terry wore his heart on his sleeve during that match, and he certainly deserved better than he got...!!!
As for Grant, Abramovich need only ask Sir Alex Ferguson of his verdict as to what he should do with Grant... and that is he should stay!
Grant took over the reigns unexpectedly in September, and did a good job- pushing Man U all the way for the domestic cup, then getting Chelsea to the Final of the CL, a feat the 'Special One' never managed! My opinion- Grant deserves the chance at a FULL year in charge and could maybe, just maybe become the REAL 'Special One', no?

Chelsea have been unlucky with injuries and they did play lots of good football. The same goes for Arsenal, when they are injury-free, they are top team, until that horrific tackle on Eduardo as well Rosicky, numerous of defencers sidelined, the team played poorly...
On other hand, Man Utd - they are injury-free throughout the seasno, they proved to be a top team. My opinion, if a team has a fully fit squad, they are likely to do very well.

Gordonhay - No disrespect to ur posting but maybe so Chelsea had a few "injury problems" BUT with the BIG Squad they have they have quality players to perform week in n week out..
Talking of "Injury problems" please do spare a thought to West Ham and Manager Alan Curbishley! who averaged 7 out of 11 first teamers out for 6-9mths!

Ok so we have heard the news that Avram Grant has been sacked! so instantly the most interesting debate will be who succeeds him add your opinion?
My guesses for next Chelsea manager: Queiroz, Aguirre, Rijkaard or Wenger.
Who Cares!

I feel Chelski will wait until the end of Euro 2008 -
Felipe Scolari or Hiddink to take over...
Rijkaard - rubbish, he needed Henk Ten Cate to support him, he left for Chelski, Barcelona went down.
Queiroz - not a chance, he's United for life according to Ferguson.
To be fair, my father and I had a conversation about the sacking of Grant, we felt it is unfair - it is safe to say that NOBODY can beat Ferguson at the moment. Chelsea were second best in several competitions - great. No matter who's the next manager, Man Utd are going to go for it next season - if they do, will Abramovich sack another???
coolfox
May 25 2008, 10:13 PM
I would like to see Felipe Scolari take over the reigns of Chelsea, although Enigma reckons it'll be a Dutchman... Rijkaard or Hiddink I think he said. Honestly, who would want Rijkaard managing their team after the poor performances of Barcelona last season in all competitions?
As for Quieroz... those are Fergusons words, we have yet to hear what Carlos himself has to say about that!?!

Rijkaard to manager Chelski next!

Am confident it be Rikjaard to boss Chelsea nxt..
Grants sacking was absolute disgraceful - He took over a team that was low on moral afr Mourinho was sacked
Also Grant took over at Chelsea wen i think they were 5th in the league 2 days afr Mourinho got the bullit
Had no time to buy the players he wanted till 3 maybe 4 mths afr he was appointed
Grant also got Chelsea to within a whisker of winning the Premiership which i thought was great credit for Grant seeing they were at some point far behind Man Utd at one stage
Taken Chelsea to Champions league Final which is more than wat Mourinho did in his 3yrs or however long he was there for
So Roman i belive dont know wats he doing - Trigger happy me thinks!
End of day i think Rikjaard will be nxt boss n i think he do a grand job too
Coolfox - U say Rikjaards Barcelona do poor?
Sure they were poor but if u look they had a few key players out injured n i mean "key" players like Ronaldinho Messi n E' eto just to name a few n missed large amounts games but yeh i agree they were bad performances which was gud for me seeing im a Real Madrid fan!
Ronaldo of Man Utd WILL join Madrid within nxt 2yrs or so..
Mark my words!!

Ancelotti for Chelsea - deal done according to the news... Shevenecko will get more chances under him i guess.
Ronaldo - Real Madrid within 2 years - a safe bet - yeah.
I wonder how long will he survive - the same question goes to Hughes if he goes to Manchester City.

Jun 4 2008, 02:37 PM
Today Ancelotti say no, want to stay at Milan for longer time.
Hughes is confirmed as Man City manager. good luck to him, let not hope he will end up as same as Sam Allardyce at his Newcaste stint. wait and see.
Chelsea will have a new manager AFTER euro 2008. I am sure one of managers from these Euro 2008 competetion will be manager of chelsea.

Mark Hughes has now screwed his chances of being the man in the hot seat when Ferguson leaves Man Utd as i dont belive Man Utd will go for Hughes in 3yrs time
Also a brave dicision to quit Blackburn where i thought hes done a grand job in last 3yrs or however long he was there for
