Guys,

I have been working on filming as well editing clips. I should be the one who does the recommendations lol!

Anyway, I have been playing with various of DVD maker program which can include subtitles.

The idea for the DVD is -

MENU with an option of subtitles (ON OFF)

Once you click one of those, you will be re-directed to the original menu with PLAY highlighted.

Did anyone has an experience with this sort of work/hobby. I would love to know which ones so I could experiment more.

Cheers,

Gordon

Hi,

With ConvertXtoDVD you can convert video files with internal or external subtitles.

Add you video file, if he subtitles weren't automatically detected you can right click on the word "subtitle" in the tree view and add them.

ConvertXtoDVD will make a menu for you converted files with a menu where you can activate or not the subtitles, sounds like this is what you want.

You can also activate the subtitles when watching your video by pressing the subtitle button on your remote control.

COnvertXto DVD is a very very good program.

Also, have a look at this site : http://www.opensubtitles.com/

There are some very nicely written guides and links to software where you can easily make your own and amend existing subs.
