I'm just curious - what car do you drive?

Currently I'm driving a Ford Focus ST170 while the missus has the VW Golf.

My car history (top is 1st)

Citroen AX 1.0
Peugeot 106 1.1
Ford Escort 1.6
Ford Focus ST170 2.0

So what's yours? smile.gif

my car collection started when i was 15:

mine,

1974 volvo 245 estate 2.1ltr, b21 engine, m75 gearbox with splitter (turn 4 speed into 7 speed)

1981 mk1 golf n, 1093cc (only one left in uk with original engine according to a database on a collectors site)

1998 renualt traffic hi-top - LWB van 2.0ltr diesel (75 miles to 8 litres fuel) currently in the middle of being converted into a camper.

household owned present and passed.

6 volvo 240's, 4 x 2.0ltr, 1 x 2.3ltr and 1 x 3.6ltr
4 volvo 740's all 2.3ltr
2 volvo 940's 1 x 2.0ltr injection manual and 1 x 2.3 carb'd engine automatic
1 volvo 850 se estate 2.0ltr manual
1 1961 bedford dormobile (martin walters conversion) camper van (had the option of starting with a starting handle instead of via dynamo)

more mini's than i can remember ranging from 1960's upto 1989
to many fords from capri's, escorts, sierras and tansits from 1960's upto 1994

to many to list, i think the only two types we've never had are rover and skoda or anything that is high end, all the cars we've had have been secondhand never owned a new car (you can't work on them)

so if anyone has an old banger and needs any help regarding maintenance, give me a shout i might be able to help smile.gif
Tony
I agree about newer car that is harder to do any work on it!!

Our VW Golf is easy to work with but my ST170 is a bit harder. Ah well, that's life! biggrin.gif

Good list of cars. I am due for a change of car but I'm still undecided which one to go next!

I have the Astra which is my first car as well, it's in black and 2 door. I'd love to own one of the American muscle cars one day, they look so great and it would be probably be a magnet for the chicks too biggrin.gif

Tony
Which one, Jazzy?

I'm more of toward Australia version of the muscle truck, which is this one biggrin.gif

I wouldn't say no to the classic Ford Mustang one, such as this one

Sweeeeeet - Ford does make good cars.

I currently drive a VW Polo Dark blue, 98 Reg, 1.9 Diesel its quite expensive for me so hoping to downgrade soon to a Fiat Punto 1.3 Turbo Diesel.
