i've just ordered sliders season 1 and 2 box set, should be here sometime next week, i saw at dvd-subtitles.com it would have subtitles.
Alas, for season 3 and 4, there were one remark about season 3, it lacked subtitles. can anyone confirm that for sure, when it is region 2, season 3 and 4? The guy who said it did not have subtitles, did not say which region it was from. I suspects that the region 1 versions does not have subtitles, you see..
Also, is it only region 2 that is considered on dvd-subtitles.com or also season 1 which are a real gamble on subtitles.

The title with that comment is the region 2 version, as it says on the page. Contributors are required to confirm the exact barcode of the DVD, so it is not necessary for contributors to state he region in their comments.
I recall several people finding this problem with the Sliders series, so although I have not seen the DVDs myself I am very sure the information is accurate.
At the moment we only have region 2 titles on dvd-subtitles.com, we do not yet have the dvd data for region 1.
I'm afraid Region 2 are just as much a gamble on subtitles as Region 1. People in the US seem to think everything here in the UK is subtitled, and people here seem to think everything in the US is subtitled. In fact both UK and US are equally bad with subtitling as far as I have seen.

I live in Norway, and we're lucky to have everything not in norwegian, subtitled. They also have RECENTLY started to sub norwegian dvd movies after lots of complains
Norway is on region 2, that's why i, like most other people, expects subtitles on region 2 dvd's. I have begun to buy region 2 dvd's from uk and thereabout because it's actually a lot cheaper than here, and also i get to watch stuff that has not been released here, like the Sliders show.
