I see in the media today that the Sarries are bringing in 12 new S African players next season. I know my team, for those who don't know TIGERS are guilty of bringing in overseas players but we still have a good percentage of English players and alot of them have come through the Tigers development programme. I was just wondering what others oppinions are on capping the amount of overseas players you should be allowed in your sqad?
Personally I feel that if we start going down the same road as football then the richest teams are always going to be at the top because they can afford the best players. This also encourages teams not to put so much effort into developing up and coming players because you can go abroad with a shopping list and buy the best players from there. The knock on effect then is that you have an international team that don't gel, don't follow rules and end up fielding 14 players most of the time and get poor results.

Surely the RFU need to step in here because what they are doing here is totally unacceptable. The sooner an England eligable quota comes in for the GP the better.
