I was wondering has anyone got Peugeot and it one of my favourties. This year Im getting Peugeot 306 XSi or D-Turbo but at the moment I got Gilera Runner VX125 bike as cheaper to run. I use it for go to work and where I work is very close and it only 4 miles to get to work. On this September when I finish pay off the bike finance and im going to sell it and get Peugeot 306 XSi or D-Turbo then join Cornwall Peugeot Motorsport Owners Club.

Peugeot's are good cars but diesel are slow as a snail mate they leak all over roads causing danger toward bikers and etc id say get a Peugeot 306 Petrol lol
Matthew
I would suggest you to get 306 GTI-6! :P

Hey donny, dont knock peugeot diesel cars on the head!!!!!!

Diesel cars are good, yes they are noisy and can be smelly but they are very good economically on fuel, lasting alot longer than petrol.
I should know I have a volkswagen polo 1.9 diesel!! ( I know its not a peugeot I like them anyway Ive had a 106 before) smile.gif

Anyway GTI-6....yeahhhhhh go for it!

I would dispute that donny, I have got a 306 1.9 turbo diesel and it's 110BHP standard, doesn't leak at all. In fact, it's been very reliable to us.

And how can 1 particular car be dangerous towards bikers? that's down to the driver, not the car
Donny
gareth mate cars dangerous towards bikers as some times cars dont look correctly im not flamin anything at all

even me self i love cars and bikes but not gettin involed with the situation against which and which.

I agree with you Gareth,

It's basically down to drivers, not cars!

Cars that leak on the road, are due to poor maintainence by the owners. It's not just Peugeot. It's all of the manufacturers. The brand that is involved in most motorbike accidents are Volvo's. It's just all about awareness of the road while you're on it. I for one grew up with a biker dad, so when I see motorbikes on the road, I am very aware of them.

I disagree about Diesel cars being slow as a snail on the road, admittedly they were woeful about 10 years ago, but right now diesel cars are up there with petrol cars in terms of performance. Petrol is all about the revs while diesel cars are all about the torque. Diesels are fitted with a turbo, if not all but most. Two completely different things!

Time for me to stop typing at uni. :P
Matthew
For me, pug 306GTI-6 got the revs and torque! :P
