It is a very good idea to check the website properly when you have enquiries about subtitles on DVDs. We have info on this DVD:

http://dvd-subtitles.com/dvds/Thirteen.php

This shows that the UK version of the DVD does not have subtitles, however the US Region 1 version of the DVD DOES have subtitles. If you have a multi-region DVD player (99% of all DVD players can be converted to multi-region) then you can watch the R1 version.

You can purchase the R1 version from here:
http://playusa.com/DVD/Region_1/3-/146872/-/Product.html
This page also confirms that there are subtitles.

Mat

It's an old topic, but if somebody is interested in this fantastic film and needs english subtitles, the german DVD (released by Fox) is an alternative, because it has english subtitles on the main feature and has region code 2.
