Hello folks,

I have an original DVD (The Matrix), and I have downloaded a .srt subtitle file to watch the film with Spanish subtitles.

I have played the movie with Media Player Classic v.6.4.8.9, and the subtitles work, but they are out of sync with the movie. I also tried VLC Media Player, to no avail.

This is very frustrating! Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Many Thanks

Not having used or even heard of .srt files myself, I assume that the problem is with the .srt file itself being out of sync. If it is out of sync by a constant time say 1 second behind throughout the film then it MAY be possible to adjust the .srt file itself. If it is out of sync by varying amounts of time, then the .srt may have been created for TV broadcast of the film which usually cuts out or shortens scenes in order to fit in with TV schedules or local censorship rules.

Sorry I cannot be of further help here.
